Charming chamber concertos for recorder, violins and continuo, and a ravishing string sonata.

This album grants baroque music lovers the great and rare pleasure of seeing Scarlatti having fun, showcasing the playful and sprightly mood of Scarlatti’s instrumental explorations. He becomes by turns funny, modest, and flexible, celebrating the recorder and letting it develop different relationships with each of the other instruments.
